The innovation space will act as a central focal point in the exhibition hall. The innovation space will run a programme of events throughout the ASPiH conference. These events will resonate with the conference theme of transformative simulation and will be bracketed under the sub themes of Enhance, Share and Improve.

 

Enhance

Monday 4th November, 1045 – 1215hrs.

The Enhance session will invite delegates and commercial partners to showcase innovative approaches to simulation-based learning, immersive technology or extended reality. This session will focus on interventions which have been shown to, or have the potential to, improve the delivery of healthcare education or enhance clinical practice.

Each presenter will have a maximum of 15 minutes(maximum of five presenters in this session).

 

Share

Monday 4th November, 1315 – 1445hrs.

The Share session will invite delegates and commercial partners to share how they have integrated national guidelines into simulation-based learning, how they have created solutions to common challenges within simulation delivery or to share expertise in programme design, research or innovation that will enrich the ASPiH community.

Speakers will have three minutes to present and two minutes for questions. Due to the short nature of these presentations, verbal presentations are ideal (maximum of 10 presenters in this session).

 

Improve

Tuesday 5th November, 1100 – 1230hrs.

The Improve session will welcome members of the transformative simulation special interest group to the innovation space. Members of this special interest group will chair discussions in relation to the principles of transformative simulation and how delegates and commercial partners might collaborate to drive a national programme of work activity following this conference.

Two presentations will commence this session.
