Conference Abstracts 2024
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Thank you to everyone who has submitted an abstract for this years conference, there have been a record number of submissions!
All submitting authors have now been notified by email. Please get in touch if you have not received this.
For all accepted abstracts, the lead author will be required to register for the conference by
Friday 30th August 2024.
If the registration is not confirmed by that date, the abstract will be
excluded from the conference programme and cannot be published in IJOHS even if tentatively selected.
If an abstract must be withdrawn, a written statement reflecting the reasons for this decision
must be sent to events@aspih.org.uk no later than 30th August 2024.
E-poster Presentation
All posters will be displayed electronicall and we kindly ask you to produce and upload a PDF poster in the following format.
· Files to be 150dpi resolution is recommended
· 42cm tall x 23.6cm wide which is a portrait orientation
· RGB colour
· Ensure that there are no bleed and crop marks
· Ensure that any images are imbedded in the poster
You must save your PDF poster with your full name and poster board number and upload via the abstract portal, by no later than Monday 1th October 2024.
Your poster board number will be emailed to you, along with your presentation time and date on 16th September.
At ASPiH 2024
As an e-poster presenter you will have 4-minutes to present your research, with an additional 1 minute for questions (maximum), during one of the parallel sessions at the conference. The poster sessions are allocated dependent on poster theme and the day and time of this will be sent to you in an email by 16th September.
Oral Communication
We kindly ask you to produce and send your slides to events@aspih.org.uk, using the below ASPiH 2024 presentation template by no later than Monday 14th October 2024. Your presentation should be no longer than 7 minutes long.
At ASPiH 2024
As an oral presenter you will have 8-minutes (maximum) to present your research, with an additional 2 minutes for questions (maximum), during one of the parallel sessions at the conference. The oral presentations sessions are allocated dependent on theme, the day and time of this will be sent to you in an email by 16th September.
International Presenters
If you are a presenter from overseas and are not able to attend in person, please email your pre-recorded presentation, no longer than 8 minutes long, by no later than Monday 14th October 2024 to events@aspih.org.uk
Please also ensure that you register for the virtual attendance option. We will not have the facility for live Q&A so please ensure that you leave your contact details on your last slide for delegates to contact you.
Full Workshop - 90 mins
We kindly ask you to produce and send your slides to events@aspih.org.uk, using the below ASPiH 2024 slide presentation template by no later than Monday 14th October 2024.
At ASPiH 2024
Your workshop will be 90 minutes long and we will confirm the date and time in an email on 16th September.
Please note that that layout for all workshop rooms will be cabaret style (round tables) and there will be no virtual facilities for remote presenting.
All rooms will have AV support including a dedicated technician, with standard AV. Please specify any additional AV requirements to PowerPoint and/or video as soon as possible. This will ensure that you have the equipment necessary to facilitate your presentation.
Please note that equipment requests at the time of submission will be fulfilled, if possible. A confirmation will be sent if the requested equipment is available. Facilitators/moderators should make their own arrangements for their proposed activities (e.g. handouts).

Please note that all accepted abstracts for the conference will be published on the conference app.
Workshops abstracts are not published in the IJoHS – International Journal of Healthcare Simulation.
